Maersk signs agreement with PEMEX

PEMEX Exploracion y Production and MAERSK OLIE OG GAS A/S. signed a non-commercial General Cooperation Agreement regarding research scientific and technological development agreement.

PEMEX Exploracion y Production General Manager, Carlos A. Morales Gil, and Mr. Jørgen Liboriussen, Senior Vice-president signed the agreement.

This agreement follows up on the State Visit the Mexican President, Felipe Calderon Hinojosa made to Denmark where he held meetings to improve the relationship between these two countries.

It is worth to mention that this agreement is in line with the Programa de Capacitación Profesional (Professional Training Program) that PEMEX has and which is part of the efforts from both companies to promote cooperation and a technological Exchange.

The signing of non-commercial agreements of this kind is a common practice in the international oil industry.
