Tethys spuds well in France

The Pierre Maubeuge 2 (PLM-2) exploration well onshore France has spudded. Drilling is estimated to last for about 20 days to reach a planned depth of 1,500 meters.
At 8 am this morning the well had reached a depth of 271 metres. The well is designed to explore for natural gas.

The Attila licence is located in the oil and gas producing Paris basin about 250 kilometres east of Paris. Tethys has a 40 per cent interest in the license with private French oil company Galli Coz S.A. having 60 per cent and operatorship.
