Lundin spuds well PL 335 in Norway

Swedish independent oil and gas exploration and production company, Lundin Petroleum AB announces that drilling of the exploration well on the Orange prospect located in Block 7/7, production licence PL 335, in the North Sea sector of the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), has commenced.

The operator is BG Norge AS. Lundin Petroleum is a partner with 18 percent interest. Other partners are Talisman Energy Norge AS and RWE Dea Norge AS.

Lundin Petroleum has existing proven and probable reserves of 176.4 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe) as at 1 January 2007.
