Wood Group continues Hess contract on Triton FPSO

Wood Group Engineering has been contracted for a further three years to provide operations & maintenance services to Hess Limited on the Triton FPSO.

The Triton floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) currently operates in the Bittern and Greater Guillemot Areas of the North Sea, east of Aberdeen, and are expected to have an economic producing life extending to 2020 and beyond.

The continued relationship marks eleven years for the Wood Group serving as the prime contractor for Hess, and also provides operations and maintenance support to Hess’s operations offshore Equatorial Guinea.

The three-year contract will secure employment for more than 100 Wood Group employees and sub-contractors offshore and onshore.
