Crude prices gain slightly

Crude oil prices were up slightly by early afternoon in New York on Monday. June contracts for West Texas Intermediate crude were 7 cents higher to $66.53 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Nymex June gasoline was also higher, adding 3 cents to $2.29 per gallon. Heating oil prices held steady, with Nymex June futures trading at $1.92 per gallon. Natural gas gained 8 cents to $7.91 per million British thermal units.
