The price of West Texas Intermediate crude was lower on Monday, dropping by $1.03 to $63.25 per barrel in midday trade on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The price of Nymex heating oil held steady at $1.86 per gallon, while Nymex gasoline was up 1 cent to $2.11 per gallon. Natural gas gained 5 cents to $7.66 per million British thermal units.
